The Ultimate Guy

BTUrruela

I truly do not know of anyone more deserving than this guy. All I’m asking is if you could please take just a few seconds to click the link and vote for BT Urruela to be on the cover of Men’s Health Magazine. MH is looking for a guy who is fit and fearless, a doer who gives back and leads by example.  BT Urruela epitomizes all of those traits! […]

Fearless Anthology

Fearless Anthology

As soon as this book was available for pre-order, I was all over it.  As soon as it was officially released, I bought multiple copies to send to friends.  Not only am I total romance junkie, but I also love that all proceeds go to VETSports (a fantastic organization I fully support).  With a foreword written by Retired Army Sgt BT Urruela sharing his story in his own words. (Not […]

What Else Is There?

It really seems almost wrong to talk about anything aside from the massive quake(s) and tsunamis that have rocked the Pacific today.  But, at the same time, what is there to say that everyone else hasn’t already said?  So, with that being said, I will simply add everyone I know within the disaster struck areas is safe and sound… and my thoughts are with those affected.  We did get some […]

Big Bear Vacation & More

My husband got home from Iraq just before Thanksgiving… Since then, we have spent some much needed time together… it all began with our first ever vacation together… to Big Bear.  We spent 4 days and 3 nights at 7,000 feet enjoying the mountains, cold weather, and warm nights by the fire in a cabin with our dog.  It was a fantastic vacation… and a perfect way to begin the […]

Mini-Series Not for Everyone

Apologies

Sorry for the lack of posting.  Hubby deployed again… not long after my birthday.  Since then, it’s just been total chaos for me.  I’ve been trying to find a job and I’m getting ready to go to Florida in a couple days to see my folks.  It was a total coincidence that I scheduled this trip for Mother’s Day weekend, but it worked out rather well, I’d say.  A girl […]

Late Night Entertainment

I got this from a friend on MySpace… The Commanding Officer of a Regiment in the U. S. Marine Corps was about to start the morning briefing to his Staff and Battalion and Company Commanders. While waiting for the coffee machine to finish its brewing, he decided to pose a question to all assembled. He explained that his wife had been a bit frisky the night before and he failed […]
